John Carlson continues his hot postseason. The Caps defenseman scored his fourth goal of the postseason tying the game 2-2.

Late in the second period, Justin Williams forced a turnover while forechecking. Williams then hit Carlson, aggressively jumping into the play, with a perfect cross-ice pass. Carlson roofed the puck past Matt Murray.

Carlson’s celly involved a huge fist pump, just several feet away from a referee.

In terms of points, Carlson has had the fifth greatest postseason by a Caps defenseman in franchise history.

Wow.
