During the second period, CSN Mid-Atlantic showed hockey great Wayne Gretzky and his wife, actor Janet Gretzky, sitting in a Wells Fargo Center suite. Wayne was in town ahead of a public celebration of Ed Snider, which will be held on Thursday.
While on screen, Wayne requested a kiss from his wife Janet. The ProStar made duck lips, asking for a kiss in the creepiest way imaginable. Janet declined, which is doubly unfortunate because then Wayne tried again.
This the kind of the thing that you replay in your head for the rest of your life. Like, you’re at the grocery store picking up avocados– boom: duck lips moment. Getting LASIK surgery and trying to focus on even breathing? Whoops, there’s the duck lips again. Now you’re blind and it’s all Wayne’s fault.
Gretzky was also shown on the jumbotron and given a standing ovation by the Flyers faithful.
