Nineties TV star, stand-up comedian, frequent sayer of “cut-it-out,” and the subject of the website The Same Picture of Dave Coulier Every Day, Dave Coulier was doing something Monday night that I did not expect: Tweeting about former Capital Mike Green.

Coulier, a long-time, hardcore hockey fan, was at the Red Wings game. He compared Green to former Wings veteran Brian Rafalski. It was Green’s 600th career game and his 25th for a team that isn’t the Capitals.

Coulier, a Michigan native, is lifelong Detroit Red Wings fan. He is one of only three non-players who have been named official Red Wings alumni.
