Selfish Alex Ovechkin is at it again: celebrating his teammate’s goals harder than his own.
After Nicklas Backstrom tallied his tenth goal of the season in the first period of Monday’s Caps-Pens game, Ovechkin screamed so loud that it was picked up by CSN Washington’s ice-level mics. This is Ovi’s Howard Dean moment and I love it.
You know what? Maybe Ovi’s yell was caught on Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin’s suit mics upstairs in the press level.
Who knows, but at least Ovi is still having fun out there.
