Mid-way through the second period, Columbus Blue Jackets center Alexander Wennberg did some unintentional remodeling at Verizon Center, chucking a clearing attempt off the jumbotron.
A part of the screen broke off and fell to the ice. How do I know that? Because it was expertly captured by Broad Street Hockey’s Travis Hughes sitting in the lower bowl.

Luckily no one was injured, but man, you don’t see that every day.
