TJ Oshie just scored his third goal as a Capital. It comes in his fifth game with his new team.
After the a dominant shift in the Flames offensive zone, the first line got fancy and scored. Alex Ovechkin gathered in a loose puck near the blue line and tossed the biscuit behind-his-back and between his legs to Evgeny Kuznetsov. Then watch the Russian machine. He goes hard to the net. As he does so, Oshie does a spin move in the crease to create space for himself. Kuznetsov sends a brilliant centering pass likely to Ovechkin. It ends up being intercepted by Oshie who one-times the puck home.
Oshie kissed the blade of his stick on his way to the bench, which is such a boss way to celebrate.
This first line is looking unstoppable! That second period was probably the best the team has played all year.
