Triple-threat Julianne Hough bought a fancy gyrocopter for husband-to-be Brooks Laich last week. The gadget is a DGI Phantom 3 and it’s powerful. According to DJI’s website, the flying camera’s top speed is 35 MPH and can travel up to 20,000 feet above sea level though it can only stay in the air for 25 minutes.

Laich broke the thing in on Tuesday while taking the couple’s two dogs, Lexi and Harley, on a walk.

First day with the @djiglobal Phantom 3 drone, so amateur but will get better!!

Check out that cinematography. Dude’s a regular Jeff Cronenweth.

I look forward to more video from Laich. And who knows, if Ted Leonsis and NBC Sports decide to keep the skycam, maybe Brooksie can operate it at Verizon Center when his career’s over.
