(I’m not going to spend too much time on this because the Islanders were playing their B-team and hadn’t played in six days.)
The Washington Capitals beat the New York Islanders 6-2 on Sunday. Alex Ovechkin scored two power play goals and they were both gr8 shots from The Ovi Spot.
John Carlson and Evgeny Kuznetsov both had a goal and three assists. One of Kuznetsov’s apples was this pretty dish to TJ Oshie.
The Caps finished the preseason 5-0-2 (though at times they looked disinterested and out-of-sync). Now let’s play some real hockey Saturday!
