Wayne Gretzky has never been a fashion icon. Now, thanks to Sears Canada, you can dress like him.
On September 9, Sears Canada announced the No 99 Wayne Gretzky Collection. It features “better casual clothing” which “will keep men looking neat, handsome, and fashionable.”
So what are these neat, handsome, and fashionable things?
The line features a $999.99 sheep leather jacket, $89.99 argyle and knit sweaters, and $69.99 button down shirts (which are all 30% off through September 23). Think the Marc Anthony line at Kohl’s but more expensive and less Latino.
My personal favorite is the $139.99 suit jacket which has the logo printed subtly inside the jacket.
Everyone also needs to see this video that is not at all awkward.
The clothing is only available at Sears Canada’s 95 department stores and sears.ca, where I’ve just realized they’re only taking orders from Canadian addresses. NOOOOOOO. Who will smuggle these across the border for us?
“Sears got my style down when they created this collection,” said The Great One in a press release. “I had the opportunity to wear all the pieces, from the t-shirts and sweaters to the jeans and dress pants, and the style, quality and value is excellent. I thoroughly expected it was going to be good, but I didn’t know it would be this good.”
But notice he didn’t say great.
Now please go photoshop Sitting Wayne in front of things.
