TJ Oshie called in to SportsCenter Sunday to surprise a five-year-old Blues fan who had a bit of a tantrum upon learning upon his trade to Washington. (It was pretty much the same reaction I had when the Hurricanes signed Alex Semin three years ago, so I get it.)

Watch and feel fuzzy things inside your innards, which is hopefully not related to how much you drank during your backyards firework show last night.

A few things:

• That’s not how you spell his name, Sportscenter.
• Also, the main part of the deal was Brouwer not Copley. So weird.
• Libby’s first question for TJ was if he had a swimming pool because yes – that is also what I was wondering. Oshie’s response: “I have a diving board at the deep end with your name on it.” Amazing.
• “I think it’s okay if you’re fans of a few teams,” Oshie politicked. I’m happy to announce Libby’s new favorite Eastern Conference team is the Capitals. Welcome to the bandwagon!
