Ladies and gentlemen, Jeff Schultz has done it again. One year to the day after winning the Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings, Sarge won the Calder Cup with the Kings’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs. Schultz has won two straight championships since getting bought out by the Washington Capitals in June 2013.

The Monarchs defeated the Utica Comets 2-1 in game five. It’s their final season in the AHL.
Schultz, who played nine games for the Kings this season, dressed for 14 of Manchester’s 19 playoff games. He only played in one game during the Calder Cup Finals, and was scratched in game five. Regardless, he joined his teammates out on the ice during their celebration, wearing his #55 jersey and hugging everyone.
He’s all like, “C’mon, dude. Don’t keep me hanging on another one of my championship hats. I’ve got a box at home for all of these.”

This is Schultz’s second Calder Cup championship. He also won the AHL’s championship trophy in 2005-06 as a member of the Hershey Bears.
