On Saturday, Evgeny Kuznetsov visited his local fire station, Fire Station 4 in Clarendon, bearing gifts. The newly minted 23-year-old was also in need of some help. I’ll let Nate Hiner, a firefighter there, explain.
As you guys reported earlier in the year, Kuzy is the next expected dad on the Caps. He came by the firehouse in search of a car seat install. He brought the guys hats and pucks that he signed. For such a superstar, the common theme from the guys was how laid back and chill he was. Guess he will be sticking around town for a while after the season!

Nate says there were no video cameras. This was not a Capitals PR event. This is just how Kuznetsov rolls in his free time. For a millionaire athlete who has every excuse to be entitled, this is the kind of stuff that warms my heart. Kuzy seems to really love it here.
