The New York freaking Rangers scored 40 seconds into game six, but let’s forget about that for a moment and enjoy a brand new Holtbyism.
Right before the opening face-off Braden Holtby skated in place like he was riding a stationary bicycle or participating in an Olympic alpine skiing event. Then he kissed the back of his mask twice.
Holtby has his two children’s names, Benjamin and Belle, painted on the back plate along with the symbol for constant improvement.
Holtby has had one of the greatest playoff performances of all-time through nine games, so whatever he’s doing pre-game is working. Do not change a thing, Holtbeast.
