On Monday, Alex Ovechkin will present Ann Schaab and her special hockey team, the Washington Ice Dogs, with the car he promised them at the All-Star Game. During Sunday’s game, the Caps let Ann onto the ice to make a shootout attempt along with her teammates.
It was adorable.
Though her shot went wide, Ann got a loud ovation from the Verizon Center crowd, which is exactly what you would expect from these fans.
CSN showed her teammate Aiden shooting during intermission.
