On Monday, the Washington Capitals held Breakdown Day at Kettler Capitals Iceplex after missing the playoffs for the first time in six years. Alex Ovechkin spoke about his disappointment, Evgeny Kuznetsov talked about sneezing, and Dmitry Orlov learned what corsi is.
Four days later, all three Caps Russians jumped on a plane to go back home.
You know what that means: selfies on an airplane.
Kuzya.
Orly.
All three players rushed home because they will be playing in the World Championship to be held in early May.
#Caps Alex Ovechkin will join the national team for the IIHF Worlds on April 20; Evgeny Kuznetsov will join a day earlier.
