Without their captain Alex Ovechkin on Tuesday, the Washington Capitals were listless against the Ottawa Senators, getting shutout 2-0. It was their sixth straight loss. It looks like things could get a whole lot worse.
In the second period of the Caps’ second straight game without Ovi, Mikhail Grabovski fell awkwardly on his left leg after being taken down from behind by Devils defenseman Bryce Salvador.
After laying on the ice for 15 seconds, Grabovski got up and skated off on his own power, though he did not putting any pressure on his left leg. Once he got to the bench, Grabo writhed in pain.
During the next stoppage in play, Grabo tested his leg out on the ice. After grimacing and still appearing to be very uncomfortable, Grabovski went into the locker room.
The Capitals say that Grabovski is questionable to return.
#Caps Grabovski (lower body) is being evaluated and his return to tonight's game is questionable.

Let’s hope it’s not serious.
