Washington Capitals top collegiate prospect Riley Barber is still lighting up the NCAA. Two weeks ago, I wrote about his big weekend against Ohio State. He’s been playing well since, recording points in all but one of Miami University’s six games.
He had a three-point night on Saturday in a 4-4 tie against Providence College.
Barber’s goals are at 0:27 and 1:25 marks. Assist is at 0:47 mark. His shot is at 0:58 mark.
Barber scored a shorthanded goal and a powerplay goal. He now leads the league in goals (8), is tied for NCAA lead in points (12) and shorthanded goals (2), and is tied for second (behind Maryland-native Caps camp invite Sam Anas) in game-winning goals (2). Barber’s setupman Austin Czarnik is tied for fourth in points with 11.
