Washington Capitals prospect Evgeny Kuznetsov flew to Germany where he’ll undergo an examination of his latest shoulder injury. Kuznetsov, who was injured after a hit by Vityaz’s Maxim Rybin Friday, is out indefinitely.
During a post-game presser following Traktor’s 4-3 victory over Torpedo Sunday, their first win of the season, Traktor head coach Valery Belousov commented broadly on his star forward’s status.
Sport-Express quotes Belousov:
We don’t know a lot because it’s the weekend. I think tomorrow we’ll have some clarity. We sent Evgeny to the same clinic where he underwent surgery and the doctor knows what happened to him. I think they’ll figure it out.
