The Arizona Coyotes announced their biggest signing of the 2019-20 season on Monday afternoon: Luna, the puppy, who will bring the best intangibles the team has ever had.
A 14-week old black Labrador retriever, Luna came from the National Assistance Dogs Inc. and will be trained by the Coyotes for the next year. Afterwards, she will be given to a veteran in need.

The dog party continues. This time, the Minnesota Wild have jumped on the puppy bandwagon. Their newest squirt, Breezer, is a 12-week-old Labrador Retriever and he is ready for the upcoming season.
Breezer will become a future service dog after spending the next year with the Minnesota Wild, being fostered and trained by President Matt Majka and his wife Kym.

The Tampa Bay Lightning may have signed Kevin Shattenkirk yesterday, but their biggest pick up of the offseason is yellow Labrador puppy, Bolt. They are now the newest team to jump on the puppy bandwagon.
Bolt, who will serve as a team ambassador while becoming big and strong, will be with the Lightning for a year before adventuring to become a service dog. He will definitely work to the top of his paw-tential and fit in great with the squad.

The San Jose Sharks have started the offseason with a bang. On Monday, they re-signed Erik Karlsson to an eight-year deal and Friday they announced their acquisition of a new yellow Labrador puppy named Finn for the upcoming season.
Finn measures one-foot, four-inches and weighs slightly more than a watermelon, eight pounds. He should be a great addition to the squad.

Tom Wilson may enjoy angrily punching other people in the face, but he also has a more gentle side off the ice.
The Caps enforcer, along with his lovely girlfriend Taylor Pischke, took in their first foster puppy last week from Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. The couple cared for Tulip, a brindle-colored boxer/plott-hound mix puppy. And by the sound of it, this is just the start of Wilson’s life as a foster dog dad.
