Vladimir Tarasenko’s 6-day-old baby takes nap in Stanley Cup
The St. Louis Blues’ alternate captain Vladimir Tarasenko, wife Yana, and sons Mark and Aleksandr, welcomed a new member to their family the one day after the Blues won Game Five of the Stanley Cup Final.
Days later, after the Blues won Game Seven, Tarasenko brought the Stanley Cup home to St. Louis, and the week-old baby settled into it for a nap.
Tarasenko appears to be the first Blues player to spend a day with the NHL’s championship trophy.
