Family goals: Leni Oshie scores on baby net as dad celebrates 🚨

Leni Oshie is just like her dad in almost every way. Not only does she have an uncanny resemblance to her papa, she also has the laser precision of her dad’s snap shot.

Wednesday afternoon, Lauren Oshie published video of Leni playing some hockey with dad. Using a kid’s sized stick and firing at a toddler net, Leni went off the (PVC) pipe and in for a goal.

She flashed a huge smile, but it was TJ who had the biggest celebration.

Leni Oshie celebrates third birthday with extravagant dinosaur cake, pink Mercedes-Benz big wheel

Over the weekend, the 2019 Draft was held in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hundreds of teenage hockey players realized their dream and were drafted into the NHL. But arguably a bigger dream was realized in Bethesda, Maryland, where Leni Oshie turned three-years-old.

The Oshie family held Leni’s birthday party at Badlands Playspace and the party was epic.

There was a T-Rex dance party, a T-Rex birthday cake (that probably should be put in the Louvre), and a pink Mercedes-Benz big wheel.

Watching Leni Oshie eat spaghetti is the greatest cinematic experience since ‘Titanic’

Much like the C-O bond in the carbon monoxide molecule, or maybe peanut butter and jelly, Leni Oshie and carbohydrates are one of the strongest bonds on the planet.

If Lauren Oshie posts an Instagram video of the Oshie family at an Italian restaurant, the chances of us getting a small glimpse of Leni digging into a large plate of pasta is very high. We were lucky to witness the pure pageantry of this ritual once again on Sunday night.

TKO painted custom denim jackets for Lyla and Leni Oshie ahead of the playoffs

After painting portraits for the Capitals, NBC Sports, Circa Restaurant, and various Caps players, Taylor Kampa Olson has found another medium.

In a commissioned piece from Lauren Oshie, Kampa Olson painted denim jackets for both Lyla and Leni. The girls will be decked out once again to support their ‘Papa’ during the playoffs.

The Oshie and Backstrom children are learning to skate together and it’s super cute

Earlier this season, Nicklas Backstrom melted hearts when he brought his two kids, Haley and Vince, out onto the ice after practice for a short family skate.

On Monday, Lauren Oshie shared photos and videos of her kids, Lyla and Leni, taking joint skating lessons with the Backstrom kids at Medstar Capitals Iceplex, the same rink that their dads practice at.

It’s so sweet your teeth will hurt.

Lyla and Leni Oshie celebrate dad TJ’s 500th point with custom Oshie jackets

TJ Oshie scored his 500th career point against the San Jose Sharks, Thursday.

The forward received props from his teammates. “That’s a lot of points…” Tom Wilson said on Twitter.

Oshie’s adorable children, Lyla and Leni, also had a tribute for Dad.

The Oshies and Alzners went to Disney World together during the break

Karl Alzner may not be a Capital anymore, but he’s still close friends with many of his former teammates.

Thursday, Lauren Oshie revealed that the Oshie and Alzner families flew to Orlando, Florida and are vacationing together again at Disney World. This is the second time in nearly three years the two families have gone to Disney.

A big part of why is likely due to the close bond between Lyla Oshie and Stella Alzner. Back when TJ and Karl were still living in the area, the two kids were inseparable, routinely going on play dates like this excursion to a playground. The young friends have even watched Caps games together in the past with other Caps’ kids.

The vacation comes as part of the Capitals’ eight-day hiatus between games, which includes the All-Star Break and an NHL bye week.

Leni Oshie is our pasta loving pal

“One day, the Leni Oshie content might not be good anymore. We should cherish what we have now,” I told myself one fine afternoon while scrolling through Lauren Oshie’s Instagram feed. Instead, something magical is happening. The content is only getting stronger.

Friday evening, we got another glimpse inside the life of the trendy toddler. Leni Rose knows how important it is to carb load before hittin’ the town (or hittin’ the road to her bed), so she was seen stuffing her face full of pasta.

Four Capitals players spent their off day at the rink being adorable

After losing their fourth preseason game to the Canes 5-1, the Capitals were given Saturday off to rest. That didn’t mean they stayed off the ice.

TJ Oshie and John Carlson were both at MedStar Capitals Iceplex with their children. Jakub Vrana and Andre Burakovsky skated with youth hockey players.
