NBC Sports Washington’s Alan May named color commentator for 2018 AHL All-Star Game

Wildly popular Caps analyst and man who has threatened to hurt me live on air, Alan May, received another huge gig in what is becoming a very decorated broadcast career.

Months after being given his own show on NBC Sports Washington, May was named the color commentator for the 2018 AHL All-Star Game held in Utica, New York.

It’s the second year in a row and fourth time total that May will work the league’s big game.

Bears’ Chris Bourque selected for 2018 AHL All-Star Classic

Veteran forward Chris Bourque has made a case over his long AHL career to be considered one of the greatest Hershey Bears players ever. Now, Bourque has yet another accolade to add to a long, and growing list.

The AHL announced Thursday that Bourque has been named to the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic, skating for the Atlantic Division. This marks the sixth time that Bourque has been selected in the AHL All-Star festivities.
