Alex Chiasson’s day with the Stanley Cup included returning to his high school with Jonathan Marchessault
On Sunday, former Capital Alex Chiasson celebrated his day with the Stanley Cup. In an sentimental gesture, he returned to his high school, Séminaire Saint-François in Quebec City, with the Cup in tow.
“I grew up here and spent my childhood at the Seminary participating in football camps, playing hockey in the ranks,” Chiasson said on Sunday to TVA Sports’ Richard Boutin. “It’s also here that I met some of my best friends. It’s a very special day and it’s touching that there are so many people [here].”
Chiasson shared the day with Vegas Golden Knights forward Jonathan Marchessault, who also attended Séminaire Saint-François.
