Alex Ovechkin will be back in the United States next month as a featured attendee at Fanatics Fest on July 18.
Fanatics Fest, set to take place at the Javits Center in New York City from July 16-19, is an enormous event that brings some of the world’s top athletes, leagues, collectors, brands, and fans together for a multi-day festival full of appearances, autograph signings, photo opportunities, panels, and other marquee activations.
Ovechkin will be at the event for one day, participating in photo ops and signing autographs. Fanatics has Ovechkin’s photo ops listed at $310 per ticket, standard autograph tickets at $300, and premium autograph tickets at $409. Ovechkin will not be permitted to sign any original art or game-used items.
There is a limit of one autograph ticket and one photo op ticket per talent, per individual customer. Each photo op ticket is valid for up to four participants per photo op, excluding the talent. Each autograph ticket permits entry to the line for the ticket holder and one guest only.
Ovechkin, the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer, will be one of many huge stars at the event, as other expected talent includes LeBron James, Tom Brady, Serena Williams, David Beckham, John Cena, Aaron Judge, Jalen Brunson, Mike Tyson, Jerry Rice, and Lil Wayne, among others.
Other hockey players will also be in attendance, including Mathew Barzal, Ken Daneyko, Marc-Andre Fleury, Megan Keller, Hilary Knight, Caroline Harvey, the three Hughes brothers, Patrick Kane, Henrik Lundqvist, and Brock Nelson.
The date of Ovechkin’s expected appearance back across the Atlantic is intriguing, as the Washington Capitals captain is reportedly expected to decide if he’ll be back for one more season in the NHL sometime after July 7.
