The Washington Capitals are the most popular ticket in town after winning the Stanley Cup. And now, even player autograph signings have turned into huge events.
For instance, Capitals forward and future GQ model, Tom Wilson, had an autograph signing for his new sponsor, Sport Chevrolet, at 2 PM.
According to the dealership, fans started lining up at 3 AM.
The event was so popular that Sport Chevrolet limited autographs to only the first 275 people in attendance.
Due to large response and limited time THIS EVENT WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 275 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. Upon arrival please check-in at front door to receive your numbered ticket. TICKETING WILL BEGIN AT 12PM.
241 people, according to one fan, had already arrived two and a half hours before the event. Among those fans was the Caps Jeep creators, who got their replica Stanley Cup signed by Wilson.
