Jay Beagle’s tenure as a Washington Capital officially ended on Sunday, when the fourth-line center signed a four-year, $12 million contract with the Vancouver Canucks.
Sunday evening, Tom Wilson, who in the past spent time playing on Beagle’s wing, congratulated his former teammate on the new mondo contract and thanked him for being such a good mentor.
Wilson called Beagle “Twitterless Beags” and said that he was “happy for ya.”
This guy took me under his wing from day one. Great teammate and great friend! Happy for ya!! #twitterlessBeags pic.twitter.com/6KOFTK37Az

Hopefully someone will print out this tweet and show it to Beagle in person so he can enjoy it.
