Jay Beagle leaves a lasting legacy in Washington through his kindness with Caps fans

Jay Beagle wasn’t on social media, but he had a connection with Capitals fans that was unmistakable. From interacting with kids through the glass to frequently giving away pucks and his own personal sticks, Beagle worked as hard for Caps fans as he did for his teammates.

Sunday afternoon, the undrafted Beagle officially left the Capitals, signing a four-year, $12 million contract with the Vancouver Canucks. Since word leaked on Friday that he would not be returning to Washington, RMNB readers have been sharing their photos with Beags and their stories interacting with the forward.
