The last time we visited the underbelly of an NHL arena, we learned that Andre Burakovsky could not throw a football right. Let’s revisit.
On a scale of 1 to 10, Joe Namath would grade that heave a negative-65.
“It’s not like football is a big sport in Europe,” Burakovsky said to Isabelle Khurshudyan in early January. “It was kind of new. We didn’t really know how to hold a ball, but we worked on it. We’re getting there. We’re actually a lot better.”
Well good news, Caps fans: I can confirm that Andre has vastly improved.
Saturday night before the Caps’ game against the Stars, CSN Mid-Atlantic’s Alan May posted (vertical) video of Burakovsky soft-tossing with John Carlson.

Check out that perfect spiral.
Later, CSN Mid Atlantic showed a nice toss by Johansson during the cold open.

So kids, just know practice does make perfect. If Andre can throw a football and not injure an onlooker, you can accomplish any of your dreams too.
