The Hershey Bears tried the spaghetti from ‘Elf’ and the results were hilarious (Video)

The holiday season is here, which means that many people are watching some of their favorite Christmas movies. For many, this includes Elf, featuring former SNL standout Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf, a man who has been raised as an elf who goes to find his human father in NYC.

In the movie, Buddy struggles to fit into mainstream society, sometimes doing some pretty strange stuff. In one scene, he excitedly eats a heaping plate of spaghetti mixed with candy and sweets.

In a stroke of genius, Chocolate Hockey’s Kyle Mace got four Hershey Bears to try that concoction, resulting in a hilarious video featuring Mason Mitchell, Lucas Johansen, Colby Williams, and Connor Hobbs.

In the video, the four Bears are presented with spaghetti noodles, chocolate nonpareils, Reese’s Pieces, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, maple syrup, mini marshmallows, and fudge pop tarts.

Mitchell and Johansen look on with a bit of trepidation, opting to use a fork and knife. Williams and Hobbs, on the other hand, decide to truly honor the spirit of Elf by enthusiastically using their hands to mix and eat the food.

Their reactions to the sweet “treat” were surprisingly good. Aside from Johansen emphatically stating that he’s “not a fan” and only eating a bite or two, the rest of the guys actually enjoyed the food.

Williams said “It’s actually not that bad,” followed by “I could probably eat this for lunch and dinner.”

Mason seemed to surprise himself when he said “I enjoyed it, I really did.” Apparently it was the copious amounts of chocolate that brought the oddball dish together.

When they had just about finished their meal, Williams asked his teammates “Are you guys chocolate guys or candy guys?” His question was met with obvious protest, to which Williams firmly responded “No, pick one. This is a question.”

Johansen and Williams are wrong and are candy people, while Hobbs and Mitchell picked the correct answer, chocolate.

The guys also discuss how they watch Chopped together and how the day before they had all gotten together to wrap Christmas presents and watch Elf. Williams somehow bought see-through wrapping paper, which everyone else thought was hilarious.

These guys are the best.
