The NHL is pushing back the possible start of Phase 3, the beginning of league-wide training camps, until July 13. Previously the NHL was targeting July 10.
Sportsnet’s Eric Engels first reported the news.
Sources informing me NHL training camps, as speculated, will begin July 13. Also, any player arriving back to their playing city via commercial flight will have to immediately quarantine for seven days. @Sportsnet

The pushing back of the date comes as positive coronavirus cases reach record levels in the United States. The NHL and NHLPA are also continuing to negotiate and finalize a tentative deal on a CBA extension and return-to-play protocols.
It’s quite possible, if all continues to go well in their talks, the NHL and NHLPA will today finalize and announce they’ve reached a “tentative” deal on: Phase 3/4 Return To Play (RTP) protocols; CBA extension; transition rules; and critical dates calendar.
