To stop the spread of COVID-10, staying inside is crucial. But if you do venture out to either grab food or exercise, practicing proper social distancing is key.
In Canada, the city of Toronto leaned on its country’s most popular sport to explain how to have “good physical distancing.”
The flyer the City of Toronto created says: (the emphasis is our own)
To help stop the spread of COVID-10, residents should stay home, except for essential travel.
Practice good physical distancing – two metres apart or about the length of a hockey stick.
The City of Toronto has put these flyers up around the city and near playgrounds.
#CityofTO has closed all playgrounds and park amenities to prevent the spread of #COVID19. #StayHome and practise #PhysicalDistancing to protect yourself and others. It’s time to step up, not out. #StayAtHomeAndStaySafe pic.twitter.com/kEBRN1d9s0
