No, Justin Williams is not a baddie now. He is, however, kind of a dick the captain of an opposing team during playoff hockey.
But he snowed Braden Holtby during Game Six, so actually the jury’s out. (But no, he’s not. But. Maybe he is.)
LET RMNB’S VERY OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION BEGIN!
Williams started his season off by getting into a fight with Jay Beagle. Dog fighting is ILLEGAL, JUSTIN.
He hit Alex Ovechkin knee-on-knee, which is the second-least-fun place to be hit.
He went after Matt Niskanen and John Carlson.
He broke a cardinal rule of the game when he (sort of) touched. Our. Goalie.

He sent Jonas Siegenthaler into the goalpost and sent himself into Braden Holtby. This actually looks really bad.
He scored against his former team which is, frankly, both rude and a betrayal of the highest order.
He and Alex Ovechkin both have very handsome faces and overly-competitive spirits.

While the investigation into Justin Williams’s baddieness would appear to be convincingly conclusive, one must allow for mitigating factors like playoff intensity, a captain’s role in energizing his team, and this puppy.

Regardless, if he wants to be FaceTimed into future important Capitals moments by his ex-teammates, who are also a forever-family, he has some introspecting to do.
