Jakub Vrana scored his 11th goal of the season against the Ottawa Senators, Saturday. The tally was V’s fifth goal in his last nine games.
Heading into Christmas break, the Capitals have won seven of their last eight games in December. They lead the Metropolitan Division with 47 standings points and have a goal differential of plus-26.
All of this, including his upcoming four-days off, put Vrana in a very festive mood. So as he tried to squeak by a herd of Capitals employees, the Czech forward got jiggy wit it.
Vrana squeezes his arms in as tightly as he can and folds his hands together. Then, likely noticing he has an audience, V feels the rhythm and starts bobbling his body towards the camera directly in front of him.
Excuse me. Big-time goal-scorer coming through!
V flashes a wry smile before turning serious and walking off screen.
What a ham. π·
