Remember when we wrote about Andre Burakovsky turning into Andre Swoleakovsky during the offseason?
Well, Young Dre and his beefy muscles don’t have a single point yet this season, but they did just combine to level Canucks defenseman Troy Stecher with a humangous big hit.
Burakovsky landed the check midway through the first period. As Stecher gathered in the puck behind the net and peeled up ice, Burakovsky put his left shoulder into the Canuck and sent him flying.
Wow. Who is this gritty forward and what have they done with our Swedish shampoo model?
Somewhere in the press box, Tom Wilson is smiling, I’m sure.
