On Tuesday morning, the Metropolitan Police Department sent out a traffic advisory regarding road closures around Capital One Arena for the duration of the Stanley Cup Final.
With the Capitals heading home for Games Three and Four of the Final, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser disclosed more detailed street closures.
As was previously announced by the Metropolitan Police Department, starting from 11 PM on May 29th, through to June 11th, no vehicular traffic will be permitted in the following areas:
Limited traffic access, however, will be accessible for local residents and monthly pass holders only via Sixth Street NW from E Street to H Street NW.

Additional closures to those outlined by the Metropolitan Police Department will be in place for all Capitals home games during the Final.
For Game Three, on Saturday, June 2nd, the following streets will be closed:
For Game Four, and any subsequent home games, the above road closures will be in effect from 3:30 PM until midnight.
Parking restrictions will also be in effect for all of the Capitals home games.
From 6 AM until midnight, there will be no parking on G Street, NW between 7th Street and 9th Street, and no parking on F Street, NW between 7th Street and 9th Street.
From 4:00 p.m. until four hours after the game ends, no parking will be allowed within the following perimeter: Pennsylvania Avenue to the south, I Street, NW to the north, 3rd Street to the east, and 9th Street to the west.
Further details regarding bike access, including anyone using the Capital Bikeshare stations, is available directly from the Mayor’s office.
If any Capitals fans are leaving their cars at home and taking the MARC train instead, MTA Maryland had some news regarding the service for Games Three and Four.

The additional northbound service, which will depart one hour after completion of the game, will operate on the Penn Line only for Games Three and Four on Saturday, June 2nd, and Monday, June 4th. It will make all stops between Washington Union Station and Baltimore Penn Station. Plans for a potential Game Six (Sunday, June 10th) will be announced soon.
