Saturday night at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, the Washington Capitals remained undefeated outdoors, beating the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2.
While the Caps reunited with their first-round playoff opponent from last season, TJ Oshie had a reunion of his own with a former high school classmate.
After winning gold in South Korea, the 2018 United States Women’s Hockey Team was invited to the game. Gigi Marvin, a forward on the team, went to Warroad High School with Oshie. The two star hockey players took a photo before warmups began.

As of 2 PM Monday, the photo received over 100 retweets and 2,000 likes since being posted the night of the game.
The candid picture comes 13 years after TJ and Gigi were elected king and queen of the 2005 Frosty Festival — Warroad High School’s annual winter dance.
