The Capitals played their first ever game in Las Vegas and a familiar face dropped the first puck.
Nationals MVP outfielder Bryce Harper participated in the ceremonial faceoff between captains Alex Ovechkin and James Neal.
Harper was born and raised in Las Vegas.
Harper wore a number 89 Vegas Golden Knights jersey of Alex Tuch and an old school Washington hat.
