RMNB readers Jenn and Nick P. have always been enthusiastic Caps fans. For example, they named their recently born son, Troy Nicklas, after Troy Brouwer and Nicklas Backstrom.
On Monday, Jenn and Nick dressed Baby Troy in his first Halloween costume and this time, the parents thought an homage to Tom Wilson was appropriate. Now dressing up your baby as a hockey enforcer is cute, but it’s the final detail that makes this memorable. Jenn constructed a makeshift penalty box for Troy to wear and sit in.
“Troy even has [Tom’s] flow,” Jenn said to me in a tweet. “He hated the helmet!”
Yep, this is an A+ Halloween costume. The only accessory that’s missing is a tiny refrigerator consisting entirely of tiny ketchup bottles.
