The Capitals released their 2016 Development Camp and Fan Fest schedule today, and if your name is Peter Hassett you’ll be happy to hear that Matt Bradley is joining Kevin Kamiski, Olie Kolzig and Dennis Maruk at something called the Caps Alumni Exhibition on Wednesday, June 29, at 7:30 p.m. at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington.
Bradley was a fan favorite during his six seasons with the Caps from 2005-2011, notching 37 goals and 47 fights in 427 games. He even fought for Ovi one time. He’s now a pro scout for the Capitals.
The Alumni Exhibition is part of the Caps Fan Fest, an annual tradition during Development Camp that gives fans a chance to check out the team’s prospects and meet coaches and alums. Development Camps begins Monday, June 27, and ends with a scrimmage Saturday, July 2. Fan Fest occurs all day June 29, and includes the annual equipment sale.
