Evgeny Kuznetsov has become, in the words of Craig Laughlin, a human highlight reel. One period after he needled a pass through four sticks for a Burakovsky’s goal, Kuznetsov scored on the power play in an equally impressive manner.
He’s just like Du du du du dudududu. Okay, I scoar now!
The goal, Kuznetsov’s thirteenth of the season, gave Kuzy his eleventh multi-point game this year.
Caps play-by-play man Joe Beninati remarked at intermission, “I’m not sure if he’s Datsyuk or Kovalev.”
Which reminds me! Let’s take a look back at some RMNB comments from 2013.
bskillet:
He has been to much of a distraction already, It’s not about ‘hating on him’ It’s about can this guy even succeed as an NHL’er? Is he going to bitch about everything i.e. playing time etc., will he want to go back after a year here? So many unknowns for someone who has already created all this drama, something no hockey team needs.
THEOLDROT:
He will NEVER play in the NHL. The KHL will offer him enough to keep him in Russia. If he wanted to play in the NHL, he would be here by now. As long as the money is good enough, he’s a KHL lifer.
RT23:
I can’t wait to see how much faster he’ll be without 37 sponsor patches on his uniform.
Barry N:
He won’t ever come to DC
Michelle K:
Can we forget about him already? He’s not the end all and be all for the Caps. And if he is… there’s obviously larger structural problems with the team. upset emoticon
Jesse K:
Stop drafting Europeans in the first round…….. Getting real annoying
Joe M:
I feel like you’re just trolling us now. unsure emoticon
Andrew M:
This kids all talk. Don’t really care what he says or what someone says about him until he’s wearing red.
Steven S:
Prima donna drama queen attention #$%^! about sums it up.
my brother Brandon:
You guys are reading way too much into what he said. He’s coming over.
Christopher J:
F&*^ him. Trade his rights while he still has value. I’m done.
Eric K:

Ryan R:
