So much personality here. Who even is this man? (Photo: @keeperofthecup)
In June, former Washington Capitals defenseman Jeff Schultz became a Stanley Cup champion after his Los Angeles Kings vanquished the New York Rangers in five games. Now, for some of you, that thought still makes you laugh/cry/shudder.
But today we must put on our big-boy pants. Sarge is spending the day with The Cup in his hometown of Calgary. Ish just got even realer.
The first place Mr. Nasty took the Stanley Cup was — and this is sweet — the Ronald McDonald House of Southern Alberta.
Take a look at some of these photos and try not to smile.

Immediately after that, Sarge took The Cup to the Calgary Fire House where he gave it a fancy hat.
Later, he hit up the police station.

Then to conclude the day, Sarge took a dip in the pool with his new friend while wearing a suit. You can’t make this stuff up.

And also took a drink.
It seems like Schultz is making a lot of friends these days.
Thank you Jeff Schultz for hanging out with us Monday, now taking the cup to the RMH today. Absolute role model. #hitmenfamily

RMNB is not associated with the Washington Capitals; Monumental Sports, the NHL, or its properties. Not even a little bit.
